Pursuant to EU Regulation 2019/1009, fertiliser products in the EU must comply with the requirements of the Regulation prior to being placed on the EU market. Manufacturers must ensure that the safety requirements are met by their products. Certification and labelling with the CE mark is therefore mandatory in certain cases, especially for cross-border trade.
Our partner bio.inspecta/q.inspecta offers the conformity assessment for CE marking together with the EBC inspection. CE certification is subsequently carried out by CerTrust. The scope for testing and certification by bio.inspecta/q.inspecta and CerTrust extends to all EU fertiliser products.
CE certification provides you with proof that your plant-based biochar meets the safety requirements pursuant to EU Regulation 2019/1009. This allows you to sell your plant-based biochar beyond your own national borders.Website
