Audit and certification

Manufacturers, processors, and traders of biochar with the WBC logo are inspected and certified by the independent certification body, CERES-CERT. On-site inspections followed by certification occur annually. Through this comprehensive verification process along the entire supply chain, it can be ensured that a high-quality biochar product reaches the end customers.

CERES-CERT is accredited in accordance with ISO 17065 and applies the inspection and certification procedures that have been established for EBC for over 10 years.
