Biochar Life cools the climate by helping to remove carbon from the atmosphere. It mobilizes a huge previously untapped human resource, the smallholder farmers of the developing world, to convert currently burned crop waste, a huge, previously ignored source of greenhouse gases, into carbon sequestering biochar. Biochar Life trains smallholder farmers to biochar, not burn, their crop waste, certify the amount of carbon removed, provide access to global carbon offset markets for the verified carbon sequestration and ensure immediate payment, thereby encouraging others also to biochar, not burn.
As a service and technology provider of CSI and as an experienced C-Sink Manager Biochar Life provides training, consultancy and technology services for future C-Sink managers managing C-sink farmer networks of Global Artisan C-sink Standard.
Carboneers has become partner of Carbon Standards International for EBC projects.
The Dutch based company helps biomass owners in Europe and Africa to produce biochar and create the corresponding Carbon Removal Credits. They provide a proper assessment of biomass and financial feasibility, consult on technology selection, offer training to staff members, prepare for and guide through EBC and C-sink certification, and take care for sales of biochar as well as carbon credits.
Carboneers develops long term partnerships, as they stay responsible for the project.
Carbonfuture helps companies and organizations worldwide on their path to true net zero. As a marketplace and fully digital platform for high-quality and effective carbon removal credits, the company offers certificates that not only avoid CO2 emissions, but actively remove them out of the atmosphere. With an uncompromisingly scientific approach as well as seamless, tamper-proof supply chain tracking, precise sink modeling, and flexible credit management, Carbonfuture sets the standard for effective and trustworthy climate action. Carbonfuture’s mission is to drive real climate impact by catalyzing an industry of high quality, persistent and trustworthy carbon removal at gigatonnes scale.
CarbonSpace is a satellite and AI-based platform enabling food & beverage companies to generate carbon claims on land-based operations and reach climate goals across their supply chains. The platform empowers unified, scalable, and cost-effective carbon footprint monitoring with carbon claims applicable to a broad range of ecosystems globally, including croplands, plantations, forests, agroforestry, and grazing lands. This breadth brings a new level of transparency to supply chains and unleashes the potential of nature-based carbon dioxide (CO2) removal projects.
