Audit and certification

The European Biochar Certificate (EBC) ensures that production, further processing and sale are audited and certified. This guarantees that every purchaser in the supply chain is accessing a flawless product that has been produced and processed in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the European Biochar Certificate (EBC). European Biochar Certificate (EBC) traders are also audited and certified, thus guaranteeing an uninterrupted supply chain all the way to the end customer.

CERES is an accredited certification body and our partner. The audit and certification system that has been developed with CERES over the last 10 years complies with ISO 17065 and ensures that the quality of the biochar is comprehensively checked and documented. All the limits for the various usage classes (feed, agriculture, materials) are complied with in accordance with the applicable regulations for feed, soil protection and user safety.
