Biochar to save the climate

Speech from Hans-Peter Schmidt, Ithaka Institute

At the Biochar Symposium early September 2022, Hans-Peter Schmidt, Ithaka Institute, gave his presentation entitled "Biochar zur Rettung des Klimas" (Biochar to save the climate) on the technical possibilities of climate protection with the motto "It is neither technically nor economically a real problem to save the climate sustainably. It just needs to be done". 

Subordinate topics were Negative Emissions Technologies (NET for short), Pyrogenic Carbon Capture & Storage (PyCCS) and C-sinks. Further intensive developments together with Carbon Standards International were also addressed by him. Enjoy listening to the presentation.
